Letters are neatly and evenly cut, without serifs. Alpha with broken crossbar; wide tau; epsilon with detached middle bar.

Commentary

As many other inscribed monuments from the excavations of Nicorescu, this piece had probably made it to Jasi and then disappeared.

Marble louteria with dedications on the lip, including a dedication to Apollo Delphinios, are well known in neighbouring poleis, specifically, in Olbia.
