Translation

[In the year], 16th of..., jealousy..., Basileios, servant of God and a spiritual (man).

Commentary

In publishing the inscription, Latyshev relied on an estampage made by Skubetov. My readings are based on the published drawing and are very hypothetical.

5. The word πν(ευματ)ικός could here be referring to someone of clerical status.

The inscription is strikingly similar to V 121 from Bakla: the script is the same and the border on the right is of the same width.
