Additional description

Partly preserved left side; the back is broken off. A large oval depression on the top surface. The front is chipped along the upper edge, especially in the upper left corner.

Translation

--- on daughter's behalf --- [dedicated] to Parthenos.

 

Commentary

Ed. pr., followed by Latyshev (IOSPE) considered the monument to be a statue base. The character of the depression on the top surface, however, rather suggests an altar (НЭПХ II, с. 85).
