Additional description

Part of a base, first reused as another base, and then as a threshold for a Medieval sepulchre. The top is carved out; on the bottom, there are depressions for "the left foot of a statue and for either a spear butt, or some other support" (Latyshev 1899). On the front: a relief crown and six-line inscription cut following ruled lines.

Mu with slightly slanting outer hastae, pi with even verticals and extended horizontal, four-bar sigma with parallel top and bottom bars; absence of decorative elements at the ends of letterstrokes.
