Epsilon with a short middle bar, nu with slightly raised right hasta, omicron smaller than other letters, four-bar sigma with splayed bars, some letters have lightly curving strokes, flaring of the ends of letterstrokes.

Apparatus criticus

Translation

Akis, (daughter of) Geron, wife of Onasikles.

 

Commentary

Personal names Ἀκίς (also attested in Bosporus, LGPN IV) and Ὀνασικλῆς occur in Chersonesos only in this inscription. The name Γέρων is know from other Chersonesian inscriptions of the Hellenistic period.
