Apparatus criticus

2-3: ἡ Κουμάνησα Latyshev
3-4: θυγάτηρ ἀγίου Latyshev

Translation

Fell asleep: a servant of God, Ikoumanisa, daughter of Theodoritsis, son of Chadim, in the year 6870.

Commentary

Latyshev published the inscription relying on an estampage made by Skubetov.

1-2. On the formula, see Introduction IV.3.F.e.

3-4. On the confusion of grammatical cases, cf. V 135

4-5. The name Theodoritsis is attested in Northern Greece in the XIVth century (PLP 7350–7352), as well as in on a tombstone from Laki (V 141), but the latter is not the same person as our Theodoritses, since he is named as the son of Palpan, son of Tzogatai.
