Rectangular stele, rounded at the top. On the front: foliate cross on a base and an oil lamp, both cut in low relief; an ornamental raised border runs the perimeter.

Fell asleep: a servant of God, So.k.an, among the dead, by the side of the Lord, here, on the 5th of June; Pray to [God] and bless Sabaoth.

Commentary
The stone was found in a layer of earth fill and probably originates from the cemetery of Mariampol located up the valley. Dürbe was built in 1466. This is one of the most richly decorated tombstones known from Mountainous Crimea. In its decoration (zigzag and weave patterns) it resembles V 198 (possibly from the same area).

2-4. The additional phrase "among the dead, by the side of the Lord" is unique in epigaphy.
5-6. The concluding formula is also unique.
Text 2 is without a doubt an addendum to Text 1. Such an addendum is found on another tombstone in Mountainous Crimea: V 140.
4. The use of του in place of αὐτοῦ is a colloquial feature.
